✓ Images of the Brickwork. The more images the better, close up and standing way back too. See our guide on the best images to send us here. ✓ An Approximate Quantity. That can be either an approximate sqm area or a quantity of bricks. If you have not yet built then a copy of your architectural drawings os ideal. ✓ Your Address. We need your full address so that not only do we know where you are in the country but we can also use Google Maps in many cases to answer any questions that we may have. If we need more info we need to arrange a site visit in order to provide you with a precise quotation we will be straight back to you. What Images of my brickwork do you need ?
The general rule is the more the better.
Take one standing quite close so that we can see all the colour shades and variations, a close up image should show about 6 bricks. Then stand back a couple of meters and take another picture showing us a few meters of brickwork, then stand way back and show us the full elevation and its surroundings. If you have already built then we need the same for each elevation, along with an image showing where you new and old brickwork meet. If you haven't yet built we need these images of your existing brickwork that you need to match, along with your building plans if possible. If you do not have these an approximate sqm or number of bricks would be ok. Why do you need my address ?
can you visit site ?
If needed to yes.
We ask for images of your brickwork first as normally we can quote your project from images. If that is not the case, we will arrange to visit your site to view your brickwork and the requirements of the job. Start though with pictures and basic details by completing our online quotation form here. CAN I have a sample panel ?
We carry out a square metre sample panel on the first day of work at your project.
If you are not happy with the sample panel (thats never happened!) we go away and you are not charged. On more sensitive projects planners sometimes stipulate that they must approve a sample panel prior to commencement of works. We can visit your site and create a sample panel for you but there is a small charge for this as it involves a visit to site. Just ask for a price. do you cover my area ?
If you live anywhere in the Uk then yes we do.
Our teams of Brickwork Technicians are located all over the UK and we operate in ev very corner of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern and the Republic of Ireland. Can i have a go myself?
Yes, you can buy a range of base colour tints from our sister company Remedial Works here.
However, whilst these are great if you want to simply change the colour and look of brickwork (such as this customer did), matching brickwork is much harder and we recommend that you use one of our skilled and experienced brickwork technicians as it is what you do with our range of colour tints and dyes that makes the difference. There is not substitute for skill and experience! How long does it last ?
The process is permanent and guaranteed for the life of the brick.
It will only 'weather' as normal alongside your original adjoining brickwork, no difference between the treated and original brickwork will ever occur. Ream more about our Lifetime Guarantee here. |
